Lexicon #3: Rhetoric

Definition: The art of persuasion, or the art of using language effectively to persuade or influence someone. 

Lexicon #4: Ethos

Definition: An appeal to credibility or character, convincing the audience of the speaker's trustworthiness. It aims to build the speaker up or tarnish an opponent's reliability.

Lexicon #5: Logos

Definition: An appeal to logic or reason, using comparisons, cause and effect, facts, data, statistics, examples and evidence to persuade.

Lexicon #6: Pathos

Definition: An appeal to emotions, values, or desires, creating an emotional connection, tapping into feelings like empathy, fear, or pride.
